Bangalore matters

What do you think needs to be done for Bangalore?

Capt. Gopinath told DNA, "First, it's terrorism. Individuals and the city need to be alert and proactive. We have to preempt and respond to terror firmly and put pressure on the government. Secondly, it's communalism. Make Bangalore safe and avoid attacks such as the recent one on Christians. Third is to be open to the idea of pluralism and multiculturalism. All this will improve the ecology of Bangalore and bring in more revenue. Today, 60% of Karnataka's revenue comes from Bangalore. We have to ensure that part of it comes back to the city for its infrastructure."

I want to be terror-free. I want to be able to wear the clothes that make me comfortable. I want to be able to voice my woes. I want to spend my leisure time just the way I like it. I want to celebrate any day the way I want to. I want to decide what my values and morals are. I want my freedom just the way I understand it. I want to love Bangalore and its spirit.

I want a Bangalore that I can be proud of where the spirit is always alive.
